Bishopsbourne Camping

Visitors in fully self-contained recreational vehicles – RVs – can stay for no cost at Bishopsbourne, Northern Tasmania, for up to 2-nights. Bishopsbourne is a small farming community in the local government area (LGA) of Northern Midlands in the Central LGA region of Tasmania. Bishopsbourne is located app. 20 kilometres south-west of the town of Longford. Nearby towns to Bishopsbourne include Carrick, Bracknell and Cressy. There are no facilities at the Bishopsbourne RV Friendly Stop, all vehicles must have their own water, toilet, shower, cooking and sleeping facilities. Camping in tents, campervans, cars or other vehicles that aren’t self-contained is not permitted. Pets are OK if kept under control at all times and on a lead. The nearest dump point is in Longford. Visitors staying at the Bishopsbourne RV Friendly overnight stop must leave the area by 10 am each day.
